Zana Briski , Visiting Artist, 5/19/05
Zana Briski visits Union College to discuss "Born into Brothels", her Academy Award winning documentary, and share her own photography. Ms. Briski showed a brief DVD follow up to "Born into Brothels" and fielded questions from the class on her experience in India, the status of the children documented in the film, and what it was like to win an Academy Award. Ms. Briski also talked about her own photography and her plans for the future.
